Not a particularly hard stone, Marble is generally favoured by Architects for specific internal uses such as reception areas, bathrooms and public areas. At home it can be just as versatile providing floor and wall tiling, vanity tops, fireplace surrounds, and bath surrounds, where its use can transform the average home bathroom into a vision of opulence and luxury.

Marble should not be exposed to harsh chemical cleaners and acidic substances, nor is it recommended for kitchen work surfaces .
