Procedure
Stage 1 –Quotation, Classico offers free quotations to all of our trade and private customers. Once you are satisfied and would like us proceed, you simply place the order (non account customers would need to leave a deposit) this allows us to obtain the material or reserve material we have in stock.
Stage 2 – Templating, call us and book in a templating slot about 1 week prior to your project being ready. One of our skilled templaters will come out and take a complete survey of what is required. They will also be able to assist and advise on any details that might require attention in order to give you the best installation possible. They also investigate the best route into the property and address any obstacles that may cause a problem. It is imperative that nothing is changed between templating and installation.
Stage 3 – Drawing, the templaters have a meeting with the office every morning and a scaled drawing is produced, the drawing is then sent to you for approval. This allows us to ensure that we have all the details such as material and thickness correct. It also provides you with a chance to change details such as the handing of drainer grooves or the position of a power port, etc. In some instances, the project is repriced at this stage so any variations can be discussed prior to commencing work. Stage 4 – The go ahead, once instructed the project is passed through the workshop with every department having their own documentation relating to the project. The slabs are cut to size, edges are polished and any cut-outs are made. Our aim is always to produce an exact replica of your application so minimize the need of adjustment when fitting.
Stage 5 – Installation, a slot is scheduled in and a team of installers arrive at you location. We will always have enough labour to carry and install the stone (unless alternative arrangements have been made). See our company vehicles
